Focus On: New Releases

New releases are listed in every category of the Leisure Audio Books product pages. These are listed in the lower left-hand column of each page, with a yellow background.

Remember, because there are New Releases in virtually every category and sub-category, they make an excellent addition to any existing niche market or a great niche all their own. Offering additional advertising for New Releases in your niche also gives you the opportunity to remind your potential customers of your product.

Your Leisure Audio Books Newsletter Hello, In case you missed it, there was a report on the Support Desk and checking ticket responses in last week's edition of your Leisure Audio Books Newsletter. Though the system sends an email notice after a response is generated, increasingly unreliable email service means that these notices may be filtered out by your server. Normal response time to most tickets is under 24 hours, and many receive a reply within 12 hours. Anyone who has not received an email response notice within that time should login and check their ticket. To do so it is important to keep the ticket ID# which appears immediately after submitting a ticket. At that time make note of the ticket ID# so that you can look up the response. This is especially true when making any changes to your account, as your participation *may be required* in these matters. For those who have been experiencing email deliverability issues, the best solution is to open a separate, business email account using an email server that is *"marketer-friendly."* That is, one which does not filter out business email. (Many ISP-based email servers are notorious for filtering out any kind of business email.) One of the best is Google's gmail, which offers free accounts and is very reliable. It also offers a "label" and "filter" system, which sorts incoming emails into folder/labels, thus segregating it from general incoming email. This makes finding those notices and other welcome email fast and easy. Be sure to update this information on the Profile Page, in your LAB back office. For anyone new to marketing who may find the idea of multiple email accounts unusual, it is actually a very good way to separate personal from business matters and it is easy to keep track of multiple email accounts by using the bookmarks/favorites function of your web browser. Focus On: Fitness, Mental & Physical Within the Health & Recreation category on the LAB product page, there are several ready-made niche markets. One excellent example is the Sports Enhancement Series, both for children and adults. The kids and adult versions contain over 20 different topics each (24 in Kids; 27 in Adults), for a wide variety of topics, including football, baseball, basketball and more diverse topics such as cheerleading, LaCrosse, Darts and much more. Those listed below are both baseball related, in honor of the upcoming opening day of both professional and local-league baseball. There are also specialized titles (also available for Kids and Adults) for baseball batting and pitching. Other titles include gymnastics, figure skating, hockey, downhill skiing and much more. This week's In Your Back Office portion discusses the Support area while the Focus On section adds more titles to the Business Niche, with new releases, best-sellers and the biography of Jack Welch, a General-Electic executive. And, of course, the answers to last week's quiz have been posted in the Forum.

Focus On: Business

One advantage of promoting business audio-books is that they are considered tax-deductible (as a business-related educational tool). Pointing this out encourages many to invest in the titles that interest them both. It's also a good idea to invest in your own education--

Another advantage is that there are so many niches within the business niche: Leadership, Management, Starting Your Own Business, Internet Marketing, etc. And, of course, new releases. Because, more than any other category, new releases are very common under Business in Leisure Audio Books

Many of our members also belong to Plug-In-Profits (PIPs). http://www.godoitrightnow.com/pips.html Several of the titles listed below would fit very well on the standard PIPs page. Another idea, which would work well for PIPs or no-PIPs members with a website or blog, is to add one or two titles to the front page, then a link to either the Business/Internet category of the Product page or another within the same website which allows the author to add a personal recommendation/review of each title first.

Sending an email with these titles to a business newsletter or updates opt-in list is also a good idea. And, of course, adding the link (provided with each title) to the banner section of traffic exchanges and safelists is also a great way to promote these titles.
